Priority Consult

When you need to see a clinician promptly, our priority consult connects you with the first available AHPRA-registered clinician. We aim to see you promptly, subject to clinician availability.

  • AHPRA-registered clinicians
  • Telehealth, Australia-wide
  • Use any Australian pharmacy you choose

All clinical outcomes depend on your individual circumstances. Emintell Hub does not guarantee any particular health outcome. Your clinician will discuss realistic expectations during your consultation.

Telehealth is not suitable for all health concerns. Your practitioner may recommend in-person assessment, urgent care, GP review, specialist referral, further investigation or no treatment depending on your circumstances.

How we support you

Tools your clinician can draw on.

A toolkit, not a one-size-fits-all script. Hover any card to see how it fits into your overall plan.

What to expect

What to expect from your consultation.

  1. Booking

Select a priority consult slot from the booking calendar. Priority consults are offered subject to clinician availability each day. Complete the intake form promptly to avoid delays.

  2. During Your Consult

Your clinician will assess your concern, provide clinical guidance and determine the most appropriate course of action. Prescriptions, referrals or escalation pathways are actioned during the consult.

  3. After Your Consult

eScripts, referrals and certificates are typically sent promptly after your consult. Delivery timeframes may vary. If further care is needed, your clinician will outline next steps before the call ends.

Some health concerns cannot wait for the next available appointment slot. Our priority consult is designed for those moments: you book, and the first available AHPRA-registered clinician connects with you, typically as quickly as possible.

This is not a shortcut. Your clinician conducts the same clinical assessment as any other consultation. The difference is speed of access. If a prescription is deemed medically appropriate, it is sent as an eScript promptly. If your concern requires in-person care or emergency attention, your clinician will guide you to the right next step. We aim to see you promptly, subject to clinician availability, so every patient receives appropriate clinical attention.

All treatments carry potential benefits and risks. Your clinician will discuss these with you during your consultation so you can make an informed decision. Individual results vary based on your individual circumstances. Assessment findings do not guarantee a particular outcome. All clinical decisions are made by your treating clinician based on your personal health profile. This is not an emergency service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 000.

Service FAQ

Priority Consult: Common questions

Priority consults aim to connect you with the first available clinician as quickly as possible. Exact wait times may vary depending on demand.
No. Priority consults are for urgent but non-emergency concerns. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 000 immediately.
The priority fee ensures we can maintain dedicated clinician availability so we can usually see priority patients promptly, without reducing the quality of care for other patients.
If priority slots are fully booked for the day, our team will help you find the next available appointment. In genuinely urgent situations, we may be able to accommodate additional bookings.
Yes, if you need a prescription urgently and cannot wait for a standard appointment. Your clinician will still conduct the required safety checks before issuing any script.
