Depending on your circumstances, options may include lifestyle strategies, behavioural support, a referral, monitoring, or no treatment. Where deemed medically appropriate, prescription options may also be discussed.

  3. After Your Consult

Your quit plan and any prescriptions are delivered electronically. Follow-up appointments can be booked to monitor your progress and adjust your plan as needed.

Quitting smoking is one of the most common reasons people seek clinical support, and it benefits from an ongoing approach built around your history. Our AHPRA-registered clinicians take the time to understand your history, your goals and what has or has not worked in the past.

Your clinician will assess your readiness and discuss strategies that may help. Depending on your circumstances, they may recommend lifestyle strategies, behavioural support, a referral, ongoing monitoring, or no treatment. Where deemed medically appropriate, a prescription may be one option. Follow-up appointments allow your clinician to track your progress and adjust the plan as your needs change.

Individual results vary based on your individual circumstances. Assessment findings do not guarantee a particular outcome. All clinical decisions are made by your treating clinician based on your personal health profile.

Prescribing scope: Prescriptions are issued by your treating clinician within their AHPRA-registered scope of practice. Where a prescription requires a medical practitioner, your consultation may be allocated to one of our GP clinicians.
