Your clinician reviews your symptoms, medical history and current medications during a focused 6 to 10 minute video consultation.

What to expect

What to expect from your consultation.

  1. Before Your Consult

    Complete a brief online intake form with your symptoms, medical history and current medications. This allows your clinician to prepare before the call.

  2. During Your Consult

    A 6 to 10 minute video consultation with an AHPRA-registered clinician. Your clinician will assess your concern, answer questions and outline a care plan.

  3. After Your Consult

    Any prescriptions are sent as eScripts to your phone or email. Referrals and certificates are provided electronically. A summary of your consult is available in your patient portal.

A standard telehealth consult is the simplest way to connect with an AHPRA-registered clinician from wherever you are. Whether you are managing a recurring concern, need a script or want clinical guidance on something new, this appointment is built to be efficient without cutting corners.

Our clinicians review your intake form before the call begins, so the time you spend together is focused on listening, assessing and acting. If a prescription is deemed medically appropriate, it is sent as an eScript directly to your phone or email for collection at any Australian pharmacy. Where clinically appropriate, referrals for pathology, imaging or allied health can also be arranged during your appointment.

Standard Consult: Common questions

Standard consults typically run 6 to 10 minutes. This is designed for focused, straightforward concerns. If your situation requires more time, your clinician may recommend booking a longer consultation.
Yes. If your clinician deems it medically appropriate after assessing your symptoms and history, they can issue an eScript sent directly to your phone or email.
Your clinician will let you know if a longer or follow-up consultation is recommended. You will never be rushed through a concern that needs more attention.
You can join from anywhere in Australia with a stable internet connection. You will need a device with a camera and microphone for the video call.
Medicare rebates do not currently apply to Emintell telehealth consults. The consultation fee is payable at the time of booking.
