Medical Certificate (Multi-Day)

When you need more than a single day off, our AHPRA-registered clinicians can issue a multi-day medical certificate following a clinical assessment. Your clinician determines the appropriate duration based on your symptoms and presentation.

  • Telehealth, Australia-wide
  • Use any Australian pharmacy you choose

All clinical outcomes depend on your individual circumstances. Emintell Hub does not guarantee any particular health outcome. Your clinician will discuss realistic expectations during your consultation.

Telehealth is not suitable for all health concerns. Your practitioner may recommend in-person assessment, urgent care, GP review, specialist referral, further investigation or no treatment depending on your circumstances.

What to expect

What to expect from your consultation.

  1. Before Your Consult

Complete the intake form with details about your symptoms, how long you have been unwell and the dates you require coverage for. Have any relevant medical history or documentation on hand.

  2. During Your Consult

A more detailed clinical assessment than a single-day certificate. Your clinician reviews your symptoms, determines the appropriate duration and discusses any follow-up recommendations.

  3. After Your Consult

Your certificate is delivered electronically via email or your patient portal. It is a legally valid medical certificate issued by an AHPRA-registered clinician and widely accepted by employers.

When an illness or injury keeps you off your feet for more than a day, you can access your medical certificate from home via telehealth. Our AHPRA-registered clinicians can issue multi-day medical certificates via telehealth from $39, following a clinical assessment that determines the appropriate duration for your absence.

Unlike a single-day certificate, the multi-day process involves a more detailed assessment. Your clinician reviews your symptoms, medical history and current presentation to determine how many days of rest are warranted. The certificate is delivered electronically via email or your patient portal, ready to forward to your employer or institution. Certificates cannot be backdated.

Individual results vary based on your individual circumstances. Assessment findings do not guarantee a particular outcome. All clinical decisions, including the duration of any certificate, are made by your treating clinician based on your personal health profile.

Please note: A medical certificate is only issued following a genuine clinical assessment. Certificates cannot be backdated. The decision to issue a certificate is at the clinician’s sole discretion and is not guaranteed as an outcome of booking this service.

Service FAQ

Medical Certificate (Multi-Day): Common questions

The duration is determined by your clinician based on your symptoms and clinical presentation. There is no fixed maximum, but the certificate will reflect what is clinically appropriate for your situation.
A single-day certificate covers one specific date and is issued after a brief clinical interaction from $19.90. A multi-day certificate covers multiple days from $39 and requires a more detailed clinical assessment to determine the appropriate duration.
Certificates covering multiple days require your clinician to assess your condition in more detail to determine the appropriate duration. This ensures the certificate accurately reflects your clinical needs.
No. Certificates cannot be backdated. Your clinician determines the appropriate certificate duration following a genuine clinical assessment, and the decision is at their discretion.
A medical certificate issued via telehealth by an AHPRA-registered clinician is legally valid in Australia. Most employers and institutions accept telehealth certificates, though acceptance is at their discretion.
