All clinical outcomes depend on your individual circumstances. Emintell Hub does not guarantee any particular health outcome. Your clinician will discuss realistic expectations during your consultation.

Telehealth is not suitable for all health concerns. Your practitioner may recommend in-person assessment, urgent care, GP review, specialist referral, further investigation or no treatment depending on your circumstances.

What to expect

What to expect from your consultation.

  1. During Your Consult

Your clinician assesses your symptoms and determines which type of imaging is clinically appropriate. They will explain the reasoning behind the referral and what to expect from the scan.

  2. Receiving Your Referral

Your referral is sent electronically via email or your patient portal. You can present it at your chosen imaging facility anywhere in Australia.

  3. Results and Follow-Up

Once results are available, you can book a follow-up telehealth appointment for your clinician to review the findings and discuss next steps for your care.

Diagnostic imaging can help your clinician assess your symptoms. Our AHPRA-registered clinicians can issue referrals for X-ray, ultrasound, MRI and CT scans as part of your telehealth consultation, where clinically appropriate, at no additional cost beyond your consult fee. A referral is one possible outcome of your consult, if deemed medically appropriate. Your clinician may instead recommend monitoring, lifestyle advice, GP review or no imaging.

Your clinician assesses your symptoms and determines which type of imaging is appropriate for your situation. The referral is sent electronically and can be presented at any imaging facility in Australia. Once your results are available, a follow-up telehealth appointment allows your clinician to discuss the results with you and review your care plan where appropriate.

Individual results vary based on your individual circumstances. Assessment findings do not guarantee a particular outcome. All referrals are issued at the clinical discretion of your treating clinician based on your personal health profile.
