All clinical outcomes depend on your individual circumstances. Emintell Hub does not guarantee any particular health outcome. Your clinician will discuss realistic expectations during your consultation.

Telehealth is not suitable for all health concerns. Your practitioner may recommend in-person assessment, urgent care, GP review, specialist referral, further investigation or no treatment depending on your circumstances.

What to expect

What to expect from your consultation.

  1. During Your Consult

Your clinician assesses your situation and determines which pathology investigations are clinically appropriate. They will explain what each test measures and why it is recommended.

  2. Receiving Your Referral

Your referral is sent electronically via email or your patient portal. Present it at any accredited pathology collection centre in Australia.

  3. Results and Follow-Up

Once results are available, you can book a follow-up telehealth appointment for your clinician to review the findings, explain the results and adjust your care plan if needed.

Blood tests and pathology investigations are a routine part of good clinical care. Our AHPRA-registered clinicians can issue pathology referrals via telehealth, where clinically appropriate, so you can get the tests you need without a separate in-person visit for the referral alone.

Your clinician reviews your symptoms, medical history and current concerns to determine which pathology investigations are appropriate. Following your consult, your clinician may issue a referral if deemed medically appropriate, recommend monitoring, advise an in-person GP review, or advise that no testing is needed. Once issued, your referral is sent electronically and can be presented at any accredited pathology collection centre in Australia. Results can be reviewed at a follow-up telehealth appointment, keeping your care coordinated and your treatment plan on track.

Individual results vary based on your individual circumstances. Assessment findings do not guarantee a particular outcome. All referrals are issued at the clinical discretion of your treating clinician based on your personal health profile.
